HUD 202 Award

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation was awarded an $8,426,400 Section 202 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to build a 61 unit affordable senior housing project in Taylorsville, Utah. Residents will pay only 30% of their income in rent. We hope to break ground by Summer.

LIHTC Award

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation was awarded tax credits to complete the 110 unit acquisition and rehabilitation of the Riverwood Cove Apartments in Salt Lake City. It will continue to serve those with incomes at or below 55% the area median income. We hope to start later this Spring.

Wells Fargo Education

Financial Literacy programming will continue to be offered to residents in our multi-family properties in 2009 thanks to the generous support of our cornerstone partner Wells Fargo Bank and its many volunteers; watch for announcements by your housing project manager.

AAA Fair Credit

AAA Fair Credit is joining management to deliver an annual credit and personal financial empowerment training series entitled "Consumer Cents" for the residents of our Riverwood Cove property. Classes will be delivered on site in both English and Spanish. Watch for starting dates.
